Composting. Returning Organic Waste To The Land From Which It Came.

Composting is an ideal form of returning organic waste to the land from which it came. In other words, it is the product of the natural recycling, through decomposition, of organic waste from the kitchen and garden. It is a natural organic fertiliser which adds nutrients to the soil and improves soil structure and we can make certain that it is chemical free.

Almost any scraps and leftovers accumulate in your kitchen can be used for composting. The only things that are not usable are cooked food containing meat, fats or oil; the excrement of dogs and cats.

Compost recycling begins in the kitchen simply by using a separate small bin for all food and degradable house-hold waste, and then you basically empty into your compost bin which you place in your garden. You will need to stir 2-3 times a week or after each new waste deposit. It should process rich and dark compost continuously after 3-6 months depending on volume and conditions.

To help our environment and avoid adding to the unpleasant and potentially destructive land fill waste dumps, we should all consider recycling all food and kitchen waste and using a compost bin.
